Wazoku is proud to be both sponsoring and attending Housing Camp this weekend. Housing Camp is a free unconference for people interested in digital aspects of the social housing sector. The event is going to differ from conferences individuals within the social housing sector have attended previously in that the attendees are going to be heading up sessions, discussing, and bringing up issues that they’re specifically dealing with.
While the format lends itself to attendees to talk about anything, subjects discussed at the conference might include experiences on the ground of customer engagement in welfare reform, resident scrutiny in age of technology, experiences with receiving digital or online services, whether online or digital platforms may cause exclusion, how sectors are using social media to connect with residents and much, much more. We’re happy to take part in this incredibly interactive discussion and hope it will be a great resource of ideas and discussion for those in the social housing sector.
We see the social housing sector as being one that could really benefit from an approach to innovation that tools like Wazoku provide to organisations. Like many public services, housing is facing a number of challenges at the moment, and key to meeting them will be making the most of the creativity and ideas of people working in and around the sector.
A big issue at the moment for housing providers is ensuring tenant engagement, and Wazoku provides a great platform for allowing tenants to give their feedback and ideas to their landlords on the service they receive.
There are still tickets available for the event which you can get here via their website. We look forward to seeing you there!
