Wazoku Wins: Two More Awards for the Trophy Cabinet!

As the first half of 2023 is about to come to an end already, we wanted to share some wins that Wazoku has had recently. We’ve made a habit of winning awards of late, as our 2022 recap and blogs from earlier this year illustrate. This continued recognition for the work we do happens at a personal as well as at a business level. In this blog, we’re celebrating two individuals from our team that have this time scooped up the goods.

RITA for Diversity and Inclusion Champion – Sarah Counts

First up, Wazoku’s Chief Operations Officer Sarah Counts has won this year’s Diversity and Inclusion Champion Prize at the Real Innovation Technology Awards. This award reflects Sarah’s commitment to making Wazoku an inclusive environment for all who work here, ensuring our belief that great ideas can come from anywhere is the foundation of a culture that supports employees around the world.

Enterprise Awards for Developing Entrepreneur of the Year – Simon Hill

Seen as ‘the Oscars for Technology Entrepreneurs’, this year’s Enterprise Awards saw Wazoku CEO Simon Hill walk away with the prize for Developing Entrepreneur of the Year. This award recognizes organizations with between £3 million-£20 million in annual revenue. Among those nominated in the category were Clare Flynn Levy of Essentia Analytics and Frank Reeves of Avvio.

In this blog, we’ve recapped the latest wins that Wazoku has enjoyed at various awards ceremonies. Rounding out a great first half of the year, we now look forward to what further nominations and (hopefully) wins will come our way before the end of December.
