Learning about new topics and the way other businesses innovate is a fantastic way to find the inspiration to come up with new ideas that could be game-changing for you and your business.

Luckily, there are many innovation blogs around the web. These can be a great source of the latest news in the innovation market. Let’s take a look at our favourite innovation blogs to learn more about innovation management.

Women in Innovation

Women in Innovation is a blog and so much more. Their aim is to close the innovation gender gap by celebrating and empowering women (or those who identify as such). They do this through both their published content and their ambassador programme. Women in Innovations’s two year ambassadorship programme boasts participants from Facebook, Google and other Fortune 500 companies dedicated to achieving their goal. Although strides have been made towards gender equality in innovation, this blog recognises the need to contribute to the journey and is a must read.

Edie

Another blog with a clearly defined innovation niche is Edie. Edie is an innovation blog focused on corporate sustainability. The recently concluded COP26 in Glasgow deepened global government commitments to address issues like greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation. From tracking the actions agreed to at COP26 to exploring sustainable or unsustainable corporate conduct, Edie is the go-to blog for the environmentally concerned innovator.

ServiceNow – Workflow

If you want to learn how to innovate, work out what the best in the world are doing. ServiceNow have been in the top ten of Forbes’ most innovative companies list for the past few years. They even won the number one slot in 2018. Their Workflow blog is full of interesting stats, studies and tech news segments. It’s also one of the best-looking blogs on this list.

London Business School Review – Innovation

Universities are great places to find out about cutting-edge technologies and research. We often turn to the UK’s best university for business and management – London Business School – to find out about the latest goings-on in the tech space. The innovation section of the LBS review is especially good, with related topics such as corporate innovation, disruption and business models.

CBInsights Research

Insight platforms are a great place to look if you’re hoping to learn about innovations specific to your industry. We always turn to CBInsights for this kind of info. Their thorough research approaches are driven by hard data and rigorous journalistic integrity. Want to find out how blockchain is poised to disrupt the real estate industry? This is the place to go.

Belgium’s Board of Innovation

Making corporates think like startups – that’s the motto over at Belgium’s Board of Innovation. Their blog is fantastic for general strategies and approaches to innovation that can help you rethink the processes and culture within your own organisation. They subdivide it into articles on expertise, innovation and culture so it’s perfect as a browsing resource for fresh perspectives on innovation.
